Native app versus browser on zipo
Our zipo Android app stores market data and odds history locally, so you can open the app and see recent prices even without an internet connection—helpful in Medan or during network hiccups. The app sends push notifications for match kick-offs, deposit confirmations, and withdrawal updates, so you don't miss important moments. App users also enjoy a slightly faster interface because the app avoids browser overhead and renders game tiles more quickly. On iOS, our browser version is nearly identical; Safari caches the same data, and you can enable notifications through your device settings. For web-app users on desktop, the experience is full-featured but relies on your browser's connection at all times.
Device requirements and compatibility
We at zipo support Android 7.0 and above on phones and tablets. For iOS, Safari on iOS 12 and newer works seamlessly. Desktop browsers—Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on Windows or Mac—all support zipo without issue. Most phones manufactured in the last five years, including mid-range models common in Indonesia, run the zipo app smoothly. If your device is older than Android 6, you'll need to use the browser version instead; contact our support team through your account dashboard if you have questions about your specific device.
Troubleshooting common installation issues
If the APK file won't install, check that you've enabled "Install from unknown sources" in your Android security settings (usually Settings → Apps & permissions → App permissions or Settings → Security). Some devices prompt you to trust the certificate during installation—this is normal and safe. If the download keeps failing, try a different Wi-Fi network or wait a few hours before retrying. For iOS users, if the zipo website won't load properly, clear your Safari cache (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data), then visit zipo.bet again. On Android, if the app crashes after installation, restart your phone and ensure you have at least 100 MB of free storage space. Our support team is available in English to help with persistent issues—log in to your account and open a support ticket describing the exact error message.
Account security and app permissions on zipo
When you install the zipo app, it requests permission to access your phone's storage (for offline cache), your camera and photo library (for identity verification during KYC), and your contacts (to help with account recovery). We never share these permissions with third parties. All communication between your device and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS—the same standard that banks use. We also recommend enabling two-factor authentication in your account settings; you'll receive a code via SMS or email whenever you log in from a new device. If you suspect unauthorized access, you can reset your password immediately through your account, and we will log out all other active sessions. Your transaction history, deposit and withdrawal records, and account balance are always visible in the app, so you can audit your activity at any time.
